Papa G had a few croissants leftover from Saturday’s breakfast and had the genius idea to make just this dish. As croissants can barely make it until afternoon tea without falling flat, they would otherwise have ended up in the trash.
Like me, my dad isn’t one to follow recipes or utilize measuring cups so I cannot share his exact creation with you. But, I did find this five star recipe from the food network. Props if you can find the directions for the bourbon sauce. I couldn’t. If you are crazy and do not like chocolate, then you might try this Ina Garten recipe. I’ll try not to judge.
